Quilted Tote Bag Workshop
Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for a fun and creative workshop assembling a charm pack quilted tote bag. Both artistic and functional, you can play with colors, and patterns, and learn simple construction techniques to machine sew your tote bag together. This is a great way to use scraps and fat quarters of various fabrics, or purchase pre-cut charm packs. Whether you have some quilting experience or are a beginner, all can learn something new and hone your sewing skills. Students will be provided a pattern, as well as a supply and fabric cutting list. Students should bring their own sewing machine. If one is needed, contact Art Reach and we can make arrangements to borrow one.
This workshop will be held from 10 am-1 pm on Saturday, February 22, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway St. in Mt. Pleasant.
