Quilted Table Runner Workshop: Flights of Fancy
Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for an introduction to patchwork quilting. Following a basic pattern called Flights of Fancy, students will learn how to cut and piece their table runner top, layer batting, and backing, and finish by quilting. You will leave with a functional piece of art that can be used any time of year, depending on the color scheme. You will be provided a supply list with yardage needed of cotton fabric so the project can be suited to your taste.
This workshop will be held from 1-5 pm, Friday, March 28 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Students should bring their own sewing machine. If you do not have a machine, please contact Art Reach, and we may be able to provide one.
Recommended age: 14 and up

½ yard Background fabric
⅜ yard Medium focal print
¼ yard Contrast tone on tone or solid
1 & 1/8 yard for backing
⅜ yard for optional binding
