Artist and instructor Cheryl Meyer invites you to explore the beauty of the Chippewa River watershed while discovering the art of Plein Air watercolor painting. This session will introduce you to plein air at Chipp-a-Waters Park in Mount Pleasant. Participants can get a taste of the Paint our Preserves series, while being guided in best practices for watercolor techniques that lend themselves well to plein air. Painting supplies will be provided and all experience levels are welcome.
Participants should bring a camp chair with a cup holder or side table, lunch/snacks, drinking water, sunblock, insect repellant, and comfortable shoes. There are restrooms available at Chipp-a-Waters. Participants will meet in the parking lot and find a suitable painting area.
