Kids and teens are invited to explore the art of Paper Mache. Instructor Kim Bigard will offer various techniques to help you create a sculpture project of your choice. Projects will be selected to accommodate the age and ability of the student so that all can be successful. We will learn how to create an armature to build on, as well as the paste and strip method, and create paper clay to put a finishing touch on your sculpture. This series will be held over three weeks to allow for drying time and final painting. Students are welcome to come up with ideas so their project can suit their interests!

The class will be held weekly from 5:30-7 pm Friday, January 19- Feb 2, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
