Instructor Kim Bigard will explore all the ways you can sculpt with simple paper mache to make fun, whimsical vases and shaped urns. Adults and kids are welcome to join this class which will explain how to create an armature to support your project, apply your paper mache layers, and add texture and embellishments with recycled materials, paper clay, and more. The final session of the course will be painting or decoupaging your vase to highlight the contours and make it a functional art piece worthy of display in your home. The course is open to all ages and great for a family project!

This three-week course will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm on Fridays, May 17-31 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
