Join instructor Kim Bigard in exploring the wonders of wool. Wool can be manipulated to create felt, a stable medium with softness, texture, dimension, and myriad possibilities for flat and sculptural creation. This class will teach you how to needle felt individual leaves that will be strung together for a festive fall garland. You’ll learn essential needle felting techniques, including how to shape, layer, and embellish wool to bring your fall leaves to life. This class is great for beginners and all supplies will be provided. Please use discretion when registering children- the needles are sharp!
This class will be held from 11 am-2 pm on Saturday, November 16, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
