Join instructor Kim Bigard in feeling festive with wool. Wool can be manipulated to create felt, a stable medium with softness, texture, dimension, and myriad possibilities for flat and sculptural creation. This class will teach you how to needle-felt a 3-dimensional Christmas cactus, all decked out for the holidays. It's the perfect houseplant you can't kill! You’ll learn essential needle felting techniques, including how to shape, layer, and embellish wool to suit your decor style. This class is great for beginners and all supplies will be provided. Please use discretion when registering children— the needles are sharp!
This class will be held from 5:30-8:30 pm, Tuesday, December 10, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
