Join acclaimed Boston pastel artist Christine Bodnar for a two-day soft pastel intensive workshop. Based on the theme of “Moving Light”, students will capture the different effects light and temperature can have on painting a scene, and the study of color temperature within the landscape can bring drama and interest. Students will examine various lighting conditions within the landscape and how to capture each in a painting. This workshop is intended for intermediate to advanced students and a supply list will be provided. There is a lunch break built into the daily sessions.

The workshop will be held 10 am-3 pm Friday and Saturday, August 18-19, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
