Learn to express yourself through writing with instructor and poet Cheryl Meyer in this partnership between Art Reach and Mid Michigan College’s Lifelong Learning. This 4-week short story class will cover the basics of characterization, setting, plot, tone, and diction. Students will be provided with prompts at the end of some classes to be done for discussion and workshopping in the following weeks. Students will create and enhance written pieces, crafting a character-driven story.

The class will be held on Mondays from 6-8 pm, January 22-February 12 in classroom 179 in the Center for Liberal Arts & Business building at Mid Michigan College, at 2600 S. Summerton Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI.
