Artist and instructor Robert Paul will open his workshop and introduce you to the art of wood carving. Over the course of ten weeks, you will get a crash course in this intricate art form. He will demonstrate proper use and care of tools, set each student up with a workstation, and provide all supplies to get started in wood carving. You will receive instruction on creating low and high relief, utilizing basswood to create your project. Students wishing to purchase tools will have the option to buy a beginner set from Robert at cost. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required.

This ten-week course will be held from 7-9 pm, Thursdays June 6-August 15 (skipping July 4) at Robert’s workshop in Mount Pleasant. The address will be given to registrants.
