Have you wanted to learn how to knit but didn’t know where to start? Here is your chance to have one-on-one instruction with knitting pro Tanya Ehrsam! Over this six-week class, students will learn about different types of yarn, how to read a pattern, casting on, and a variety of different stitches. Students will learn to work flat and in the round, as well as finishing techniques. You can expect to select a pattern for a scarf or cowl neck scarf and be able to finish it by the end of the 6th week. A supply list and course outline will be provided to students.
The first session will begin Tuesday, January 16 from 5:30-7:30 pm and will be held from 5:30-7 pm each Tuesday thereafter, until February 20, in the Brannan Family Meeting Room at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
*Students 10 years and older are welcome to participate.
