If you’re looking for a new medium to try out, give gouache a try! Gouache can be considered the baby of watercolor and acrylic, or an opaque watercolor. Instructor Annie Croft has over 10 years of experience and will guide you through exploring the medium through plant and floral-themed exercises. You will learn about color theory, practice mixing colors, and learn techniques that can be utilized in working on objects or landscapes. Students will work from still lives to hone their skills or you may bring a source image to make a unique painting. Annie will help you plan, implement, and complete your gouache painting. This class is perfect for beginners or intermediate painters.

This 3-week course takes place from 3-5 pm, Mondays, March 4-18 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
