Garden Totems

Garden Totems or Peace Poles are an artful way to embellish your garden or natural spaces with vivid color and charm. Instructor and gardener Kim Bigard will lead you in painting treated 4x4 posts to make an artful impact on your landscape. An assortment of stencils and inspirational images will be provided to help tailor your totem to your taste. Exterior grade paints will be utilized for a durable finish. All finished posts will be drilled and prepped with rebar for staking and capped with a decorative post cap. Students will have the choice between a 4 ft totem or 2- 2 ft totems. All ages are welcome and all supplies are provided.

This workshop takes place from 5-8 pm, Wednesday, June 19 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
