Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for a fun and creative workshop on assembling a charm pack and quilted tote bag. Both artistic and functional, you can play with colors and patterns and learn simple construction techniques to machine sew your tote bag together. This is a great way to use scraps and fat quarters of various fabrics or purchase pre-cut charm packs. Whether you have some quilting experience or are a beginner, all can learn something new and hone your sewing skills. Students will be provided a pattern and a supply and fabric cutting list. Students may bring their own sewing machine. If one is needed, contact Art Reach, and a machine will be provided.
This workshop will be held from 10 am-2 pm on Saturday, May 10, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway St. in Mt. Pleasant.
Recommended age: 13 and up
