Are you looking for a creative outlet that can be utilized in a number of art forms?  Instructor Kim Bigard will guide you in exploring the art of bookbinding.  Books can be created for many artistic outlets: journaling, creative writing, sketchbooks, garden journals, and more!  In this class, you can expect to learn basic pamphlet stitch binding, stab binding, and Coptic stitch binding.  This is a great way to use interesting paper and ephemera you have collected, including handmade paper.  Students are welcome to bring their favorite paper, however all tools and supplies will be provided.

This 2-week course takes place 5:30-8 pm, on Tuesdays, February 11-18 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
