Unlock your creative potential with instructor Emily Gunning to explore acrylic painting. A perfect starting point for beginners, you'll learn the fundamentals of working with acrylic paints, one of the most versatile and accessible mediums for artists of all levels.

This course will cover basic techniques including color mixing, working with different brushes, preparing a canvas, creating texture and finishes through mediums, blending, and layering to create depth and vibrancy. You’ll walk away with the foundational skills needed to confidently continue your journey in acrylics.

This 5-week course will be held 1-3 pm on Thursdays, February 6-March 6, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
