POSTER CONTEST WINNERS
Congratulations Rose Wunderbaum Traines! - Rose has won the Art Reach Poster Contest for the 2009 Annual Auction for the Benefit of the Arts!

About Rose - Rose Wunderbaum Traines was born in Monroeville Indiana. The family owned a salvage business and by the age of 12, Rose had been taught to use a welding/cutting torch. She worked along side her father cutting down old trucks, cars, farm machinery and other salvageable subjects, sometimes inventing things. After her high school graduation, the family moved to Mt. Pleasant. Rose attended Indiana State, and later transferred to Central Michigan where she earned her BS Degree in Speech. It was then that she developed serious interest in metal sculpting and began pursuing it.
With over 55 solo exhibitions and many more group shows, Rose has a collection of awards and honors including the 1989 Juror's Choice Award from the Copley Society in Boston, and First Honorable Mention from the Salmagundi Club in New York City. These are the two oldest Art Associations in America.
Entering her 55th year as a sculptor and finding it more exciting all the time, Rose has completed more than 600 unique sculpt works.
