Healing Arts

Artists needed for the Healing Arts program (Program). Our mission, through this program, is to enhance the quality of life, and promote dignity, respect, and a sense of accomplishment for persons with special needs and individuals living in mid-Michigan community care facilities, assisted living centers, senior housing complexes, and senior centers (facility or facilities).  We endeavor to accomplish this mission by providing access to the healing arts through hands-on creative art activities, education, and experiences.  Art Reach implements the Program by arranging for an artist to visit one or more facilities to engage residents in a creative art project.  Typically, this involves two or three visits to the facility by the artist over a period of two or three consecutive months, and each visit usually last for one hour. Day with the Artist

Art Reach is looking for artists to participate in our Day with the Artist this spring. Various artists will go to Sacred Heart elementary to share their talent with the students. Contact Nancy Cantrell at (989) 772-4009 or Nedra Fisher at (989) 772-2570 for more information.

Off Site Galleries

We are on the look out for artists who would like to display their work at one of our off-site galleries. We have opportunities for artists to show their work at Mid Michigan Health Park, Veterans Memorial Library and Isabella County Commission on Aging.
